About Biedouw Valley Rooibos

In the Biedouw Valley on the North Eastern side of the Cedarberg mountains the farm Welbedacht is the producer of the unique Biedouw Valley Rooibos Tea.
Biedouw Valley Rooibos was formed in 1997 to produce estate Rooibos Tea.  It is a small company run by the Van der Merwe family producing, marketing and distributing this unique product.
Biedouw Valley Rooibos Tea is unique due to:
tea cup Growing in its original habitat.
tea cup Growing on a altitude of 900 - 1,000m.
tea cup Growing in perfect sandstone soil.
tea cup Growing in unpolluted air.
tea cup A combination of knowledge, skill, love and passion for the product.
Biedouw Valley Rooibos Tea is not only distributed in South Africa, it is also exported to Germany, Austria, Norway, U.K. and the U.S.A.
Each shipment is supplied with a Phyto-Sanitary certificate issued by th Department of Agriculture and a Health certificate issued by the Perishable Products Export Control Board. 
Pasteurization is done at the Red T Co. by means of a 120 degree Celcius steam heat process.
